GR look

Google reader now got a less blue, neater and a simplified look (just like other Google products) and is more faster, thanks to the changes made under the hood.

Besides visual update, some of the features are –

Collapsible Navigation

GR sidebar

Hide Unread Count

So now compare how the new and old one looks side by side –

New one is better isn’t it?

Happy Halloween everyone!!!

Dress your Firefox browser for the Halloween with these Halloween themes –

1. HaloFF

HelloFF is customized with the Nightmare Before Christmas characters to make a fun, dark, Halloween theme.Jack Skellington is the center of HalloFF but a few other characters such as Oogie Boogie and Zero can also be found in the theme. It’s a fun Halloween theme for Firefox.

You can get HaloFF here.

2.  Halloween 2.9.1

A special theme for Hallowe’en. The witches fly across the full moon (real photographs). A Jack-o-lantern. Bats flying. A haunted house. A black cat etc. You can get Halloween 2.9.1 here.

3. Welcome to Hell 2.0

Not much of Halloween type but still good. You can get Welcome to Hell 2.0 here.

Like the cool and simple theme of Google Chrome but still you don’t want to ditch Firefox. Well..now you can get Google Chrome look in Firefox.

Chromifox theme gives Firefox Chrome look. Chromifox features the sky blue color scheme as well as the compact navigation bar (combined stop/reload buttons and no ‘Home’ button) while still preserving Firefox 3’s Bookmark Star. Also reproduces the same tab aspect and rounded menus as Chrome.

The second theme Chrome Package is even better and completely reproduces Google Chrome. This theme is every bit similar to Google Chrome even the tabs. But with this theme you won’t be able to tab scroll. Chrome Package actually contains two extensions (an extension and a hack of the Chromifox theme) to enable Google Chrome look-alike mode in Firefox.

Both the theme are still in the experimental state and you’ll need to have an AMO login in order to download. Use this one if you don’t have AMO login –

Both are really excellent themes and you can get Chromifox here and Chrome package here.
