Gmail Goggles : Mail only when you are in control

Posted by: vinitneo on: October 7, 2008

Gmail Labs today released a very useful feature which prevents you from sending mail which you’ll regret later.

Imagine you are not sober and you send a mail to your boss threatening to quit if he doesn’t promote you or declaring to a girl that you’ve got a crush on her or asking your ex- to get back together could have disastrous results. Gmail checks you if you are perfectly right in mind by asking a few math questions before you click the SEND button.

By default, Mail Goggles is only active late night on the weekend as that is the time you’re most likely to need it. Once enabled, you can adjust when it’s active in the General settings.
