StumbleUpon Web toolbar

Posted by: vinitneo on: October 1, 2008

No more installing the plugin to Stumble on to great sites. Plugins have to be downloaded and installed to be used and it tends to repel people as they associated it with malware.

The web toolbar is supposed to launch tonight and would be replicating much of StumbleUpon’s functionality. To access the web toolbar, just visit the revamped StumbleUpon homepage and click on one of the recommended links.

The toolbar sits conveniently at the top of the browser window in its own frame, with a prominent “Stumble” button sitting aside a set of stars for rating the sites you come across. The service uses cookies to persistently keep track of your actions across multiple sessions (you can import this data to the toolbar if you ever choose to install it).

Man!!
That makes things a lot simpler.

Liked the fact you explained how to access the toolbar unlike StumbleUpons web site. Pity there isn’t any easy sign in mode.

yup… It’s a pity…. and I’m just happy to help. and very much like my work being appreciated. THANK YOU.
