OpenOffice.org have released the OpenOffice 3 [beta 1] with a host of new features including the ability to read and edit Microsoft Office 2007 files formats i.e. .docx, .xlsx, .pptx, etc.1024 columns per calc sheet instead of 256, a Start Center that allow you to chose which module you would like to us, fresh new icons etc.
